Sons of Italy® Expands Cultural Reach with Work and Study Programs in Italy

WASHINGTON, October 31, 2002 ­ The Order Sons of Italy in America® (OSIA), in its broad efforts to promote Italian language and culture, has joined forces with international education company Global Experiences to give college students and young professionals the opportunity to study or work in Italy.

Through Global Experiences, OSIA, the oldest and largest national organization for men and women of Italian heritage in the United States, has teamed up with the Centro Linguistico Italiano Dante Alighieri (CLIDA) in Florence to provide a variety of Italian language and culture programs. CLIDA is one of Italy's oldest private language schools specializing in teaching foreigners.

The partnership program allows participants to "test-drive" an international career and develop a global r?sum? with the bonus of learning Italian. Through the program, students can:
